Managing meetings 

For information on setting up meetings go to Schedule Meetings. This page shows you how to manage a meeting that has already been scheduled, how to update that meeting, to use the app in the meeting and how to capture the outcome when the meeting is complete.

Before the meeting


Changing the meeting – to edit the meeting

  • simply open the lead and select the Manage Meeting feature in the Status field
  • the changes automatically save to your calendar and an update is sent to clients

Client reminder – an automatic reminder is sent to you client before the meeting. Set it up in your preferences to send at either 5.00pm the day before or 8.30am on the day of

Prompt – Martin will send you a heads up just prior to the meeting, to remind you it is due to start

During the meeting

You may want to use Martin during the meeting to:

  • Profile your prospect
  • Set up the next meeting or call
  • Send yourself an email regarding follow-up actions

To access these functions, simply open the lead, and select the Meeting Outcome link in the Lead Status field.

After the meeting

Capture the outcome – to capture the outcome of the meeting

  • Open the lead, and select the Meeting Outcome link in the meeting field
  • This opens the Outcome Capture page – select a button that matches your Outcome
  • This opens the detailed Outcome page – select the closest to your situation
  • The Next Actions screen will follow – select the Next Action you need and complete
  • Select the Update button
