Using Zoom with Martin
Overview
The Martin App helps sales teams to actively manage enquiries and achieve high service levels. The functions of the Martin App include the ability to book meetings with prospects using Zoom. With Zoom integration in place a meeting can be arranged with a client, and the Martin App will take care of the details of the set-up of the meeting and sharing the zoom meeting details.
The only prerequisites to set up integration between Martin and Zoom are:
- A current Zoom login
- An installed copy of the Martin App on a phone or tablet, with a current login
Installation and Configuration
In order to integrate with Martin with Zoom, application, go to the “Profile” page within the Marin App, and select “Connect to Zoom”:
A dialog box will be displayed which looks like this (see image). To confirm, click “Authorise”.
Schedule Interview Using Zoom Meeting
Within the “Meeting Location” field, there will be an option to select a Zoom Meeting, from the drop-down location list.
If a Zoom Meeting is selected as the Meeting Location, an invitation containing the unique Zoom meeting code and link will be sent to the prospect and the Martin App user.
When a Zoom meeting has been set up through Martin, and the meeting time is changed or the meeting is cancelled, an email containing changed meeting details will be shared with the attendee.
The Zoom meeting functionality in the Martin App is limited to a meeting with two attendees – the salesperson and a single prospect or client. If Zoom meetings with more than two attendees are required, these should be booked in Zoom, outside the Martin App.
Zoom meeting details will be delivered to the client as the “location” within the invitation .ICS file sent to the prospect, as well as in the body of the invitation email.
Room meetings which are arranged through the Martin app are just normal Zoom calls. The zoom call can be made from any device (eg desktop, tablet, etc) and the video call does not need to be initiated directly through the Martin App.
Disabling Zoom Integration with Particle’s Martin App
To disable Zoom integration from Martin:
1. Go to Profile
2. Deselect the enabled “Zoom Integration” as shown (see image right)
3. The Zoom integration will be disabled.
To disable Martin integration from Zoom:
1. Login to Zoom account with the credentials provided and navigate to Zoom
Marketplace.
2. Click Manage-> Installed Apps.
3. Click on Martin.
4. Click Uninstall.
